Claire Olivas ’28 is Turning Her Dream into Reality with Scholarship Support
“When I received a call from Dr. Raquel Arias about a scholarship to USC, I was speechless. Getting into USC was already a huge accomplishment –but finding a way to afford it felt like a dream come true. Throughout college, financial concerns often distracting me from my studies as I worried about basic needs like food and school resources.
This scholarship eases that burden—not just for me but for my family too. It allows me to focus fully on my academics and get involved in activities like volunteering and research. Having this kind of support is incredibly motivating. Knowing others believe in makes me want to work harder and make them proud.”
