The USC Iovine and Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation seeks to empower the next generation of thought leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs through a unique educational experience focused on the intersection of four essential areas: the arts and design; technology; venture management; and communication. Conceived as an educational startup, the USC Iovine and Young Academy is not just a home for disruptors but a disruptor itself. Its model is unique among higher education institutions, and in only a few years it is already achieving student outcomes that are garnering notice from higher education, research, big tech, and the creative industries.
Academy students are among the nation's best and brightest who are uniquely poised to become leaders of tomorrow. Our students possess significant abilities as innovators, entrepreneurs, creatives, and cross-disciplinary team leaders that focus on high-level problem solving in areas as diverse as information systems, product development, human-centered design, e-commerce, health innovation, social change, and the future of the arts, media and entertainment ecosystems.
Your support helps ensure that these students have access to the state-of-the-art equipment, renowned faculty and programs that enable them to harness their talents and develop into leaders who will drive positive change for society and the environment.
During the current reality of COVID-19, we aim to provide financial support to current Academy students who are facing circumstances that may affect their ability to remain enrolled. Current-use scholarship funding will allow the Academy to assist students with a range of needs including temporary shelter; rent and utilities; funds for food; and for other unforeseen emergencies. Contributions will provide our students the financial support they need so they can focus on their education and maintain their status as a student at USC.
