Help our faculty and staff in need

We are deeply grateful for the commitment of our dedicated employees, who have kept so many of USC’s essential educational, healthcare, and other functions operational while adapting to our new realities. We are proud of everyone who helped quickly transition more than 7,000 courses from in-class learning to remote learning for our students—as well as all of those who have remained incredibly productive while working from their homes. To support our employees for whom at-home work is not possible, we have extended our period of administrative paid leave. 

Yet today, many of our more than 28,000 employees are being financially impacted by COVID-19 in ways we never imagined, and they need our help. Some face unexpected expenses and hardships as they make adjustments in their routines to care for their children, parents or other dependents. Some rely on the income and healthcare coverage of family members who no longer have their jobs. While some others are experiencing unexpected costs related to the technology requirements of our new work-from-home environment. 

Our faculty and staff are the lifeblood of our great university. Your gifts to the USC Employees Support Fund will support them as they continue to Fight On for their loved ones, their community and USC.
