Who Are We?

The Men's rugby program is the oldest and most prestigious club sports at the University of Southern California.  The current squad boasts 65 student-athletes led by four part-time & volunteer coaches.  Students represent many cultures, backgrounds, countries of origin, athletic, military, and life experiences.  Members of the community participate in philanthropies such as Movember Men’s Health Awareness, A Place Called Home, SOS Children's Villages, Swim With Mike, and many more in the coming years.

Our Achievements

Last year, USC’s Men’s Sevens finished in the Top 20 in the country, taking 5th place at PAC 7s and winning that Shield at the Collegiate National Sevens Championships.  Second year Head Coach Steve Stagg looks to improve on both finishes and has already registered a best-ever fourth place finish at the West Coast 7s - San Luis Obispo.  In Fifteens, USC competed for the Gold Coast Conference Championship and look for a return to the title match.

Why Donate?

As a student-run organization within USC's Recreational Sports Department, Trojan Rugby only exists due to the generosity of its donors. In most circumstances, we compete against team with more funding, better infrastructure, and strong institutional support. For USC Rugby to take the next step toward a tradition of success, we must establish an endowment that will fund the program. Our donors and team members currently pay for training through coaching and equipment, gear, travel expenses, and field reservations. We need to change that dynamic. Your financial support will do that.

We open this campaign to the general public with a goal of $30,000. All contributions go directly toward our program, supplement player-collected dues, and are managed by the university's Recreational Sports Department.
