02.05.16 - ASBME Makeathon Campaign Update

February 05, 2016

Thank you to all of our loyal donors for your gift in support of our 1st Annual Makeathon event!

ASBME is proud to announce that the Makeathon challenge is NASA inspired! ASBME's Co-Presidents have been working with NASA representatives to present the student teams with an unsolved space-travel related biomedical problem. We are very excited about this challenge and cannot wait to see the creative ways that students will solve it. The exact details of the challenge will remain confidential until the beginning of the event, but we hope this news will show students that the work they do has real-world application and that they can be a part of large-scale developments.

We hope you can come and see what solutions the student teams come up with.  If you like to attend the event, please visit:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/asbme-makeathon-tickets-20084474203 for tickets.

Please continue to help us spread the word about our campaign (https://ignite.usc.edu/asbme) on your social media pages and tell others why it was important for you that you make a gift in support of our campaign.
