USC MedLife is a university RSO active in community service, partnering with local organizations like Midnight Mission, Water Drop LA, and the Keck Street Medicine Team to improve healthcare access and health literacy.
We’re fundraising for our upcoming service-learning trip to Tamarindo, Costa Rica, where we’ll work to address healthcare needs in rural communities. We’ll support doctors providing general medical and dental services, preventative tests like Pap smears and breast cancer screenings, and follow-up care in mobile clinics. We’ll also host educational workshops to raise awareness of health stigmas and help build schools and homes in the area.
