Hello! We’re USC Club Softball, the only softball team on campus, and we need your support! As a student-run team, we do it all - reserving fields, hiring umpires, purchasing practice equipment, covering transportation costs, and providing jerseys. We compete against other teams in the Pacific South Conference of the National Club Softball Association. As years go by, we’re working with less and less funding while fees continue to increase. Every year, it gets harder to keep the team running without increasing player dues.

This year, we need help to be able to pay for travel and lodging for our series against Northern Arizona University. Whether it’s to play NAU or Grand Canyon University, the annual trip to Arizona is one of the best experiences for our players. We carpool and stay in a house together, creating memories and lifelong friendships. Not to mention, we get to play against the most competitive teams in our conference.

We’re very grateful for the funding that we receive as a member of the USC Recreational Club Council. Unfortunately, the money that we receive from the school only covers about 20% of the team’s expenses, and our allotment has been decreasing every year as more teams get the opportunity to join RCC. We never want money to be a barrier for any of our players, especially those who attend USC on merit or need-based scholarships. Therefore, we aim to keep player dues as low as possible.

This is where you come in! Donations, big or small, will help to cover travel, lodging, and competition costs, to ensure that every player can participate this season. Every dollar makes a huge difference - whether you’re an alum, a fellow Trojan, a family member, or a fan, your support helps keep our team running. Please consider helping us make this season a success!

Fight On!
