HackSC
HackSC is the University of Southern California's premier hackathon organizer, curating transformative innovation conferences that empower participants to push the boundaries of their potential. HackSC creates a welcoming learning environment for students of all diverse backgrounds and skill sets to explore their interests in technology. Each HackSC event brings together aspiring creators, developers, and visionaries, shaping the future through hands-on problem-solving and boundless imagination.
Our events include SoCal Tech Week, a 3 day event consisting of workshops and a 24 hr hackathon; HackSC-X, the first AI-based hackathon in southern California; HackSC Jr, a day-long hackathon for high school students of underrepresented backgrounds in STEM; and HackNights, evenings of speakers and workshops with industry leaders. Our 6 teams, Operations,Partnerships, Hacker Experience, Marketing, Engineering, and Product, work together to plan these events and build hackathon tools from the ground up.
Currently, we are fundraising for our upcoming HackSC Hackathon. Funding is allocated for participant meals, venue rental, workshop resources, event swag, and prizes. We would deeply appreciate donations of any size to help us provide students with a creative outlet here at USC.
