The Black Business Student Association (BBSA) operates within the USC Marshall School of Business and is committed to equipping students from diverse backgrounds and fields of study with the necessary resources and opportunities to excel in the professional world. We provide a wide range of valuable resources, including, but not limited to: recruitment events, guest speaker presentations, career development sessions, and networking opportunities.

BBSA is dedicated to empowering and uplifting students pursuing careers in business and entrepreneurship, while fostering an inclusive environment that benefits the entire USC community. Supporting BBSA as a sponsor not only directly contributes to the growth and success of our members but also aligns with broader goals of diversity and inclusivity, creating a positive impact across the university and beyond.

BBSA’s mission is to create a supportive network and foster professional development opportunities for USC students. We aim to achieve the following objectives:
  • Networking: Organize networking events that connect our members with industry professionals, successful entrepreneurs, and alumni who can provide mentorship and guidance.
  • Professional Development: Offer workshops, seminars, and skill building sessions to enhance our members’ business acumen, leadership skills, and career readiness.
  • Entrepreneurial Support: Provide resources, mentorship, and workshops designed to support USC students interested in entrepreneurship.
  • Collaboration: Foster collaboration with other student organizations, academic departments, and businesses to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
